Devotional questions for individual/family/group discussion:

  1. Has anyone ever “taken the fall” for you in a situation at school, work, or otherwise?

  2. What does it mean that God will not “remember” our sins?

  3. Is it ever hard for you to believe that all of your sins are forgiven? Are there sins from your past that you have a hard time receiving God’s forgiveness? How does this section of the catechism encourage you?

  4. When you consider the righteousness of Jesus, what are 1-2 incidents in the Gospels that stand out? How do you feel knowing that this righteousness now “belongs” to you?
